Various herbs from the calm of Chamomile to the Ancient Feverfew and Yarrow combined with a few other herbs is a holistic approach to them.
Macerating herbs in glycerine is not as good as in alcohol for most uses, as alcohol is a more effective solvent, extracts a wider range of compounds, and creates a more shelf-stable product with a longer shelf life.
This is why, at Nancy's Nest Idaho, is used Alcohol for most herbs. exceptions are Chamomile (Glycerin) and Ginger-Turmeric (Either Vinegar or Oil).
🍃 Using the folk method, each is proportions of equal part fresh flowers and alcohol. Fresh Herbs are macerated for 2-3 Weeks. Dried herbs macerated 4 to 6 weeks.
💧 How to Use
Add 1 - 2 dropfuls into your favorite morning drink OR sub-lingua, under the tongue, count to 5 and then swallow. Shake well before use. No refrigeration necessary—store in a cool, dry place.
